Description Services Recipient Qualifications Contact Info

Project Hope of Marion County, Inc. is a not for profit social service agency serving Marion County, Florida. The organization was founded by a group of concerned business and church leaders who had a heart to serve the homeless. In 2007, a Board of Directors was assembled and comprised of leaders within the community; that same year, the agency was incorporated. Today, the organization has a fulltime executive director, 20 board of director members and 25 residents in transitional housing.

Project Hope is an organization that provides transitional housing and life skills training for homeless families. It offers assistance to men, women, and their children who are homeless. Some move from dependent, often abusive relationships into independent, self-sufficient lifestyles. This is particularly important as 100% of the residents have children.
